The Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc faction considers at least 1 million ballot papers were rigged in favour of presidential candidate, Party of Regions leader Viktor Yanukovych during the February 7 presidential runoff in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, and Crimea.
Oleh Liashko has aired this on the First National TV Channel.
"We have obtained information that according to the irregularity reports made, at least 1 billion ballots were rigged during the presidential runoff in Donetsk and Luhansk regions and Crimea," he said.
The Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc faction is gathering materials about irregularities and will file the appropriate appeal to the court, Liashko said.
"We will appeal the outcomes in the court, in the election commissions. We are working on the matter," he added.
The Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc faction will do its utmost to avoid election fraud, Liashko emphasized.
As Ukrainian News reported, First Vice Prime Minister Oleksandr Turchynov, who heads the election headquarters of Yulia Tymoshenko said about vote rigging during the presidential runoff in Crimea, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Luhansk, Odesa, Mykolaiv and Zaporizhia regions.
A legal group formed the BYuT election headquarters is analyzing irregularities.
The outcome of the election is considered invalid at a constituency with over 10% of rigged votes, Turchynov reminded.
Party of Regions leader Viktor Yanukovych received 48.79% of the vote, and incumbent Prime Minister, presidential candidate Yulia Tymoshenko 45.63%, according to 99.38% of the protocols counted at constituency election commissions.
