69.07% of voters in all 225 constituencies had voted in the second round of the presidential elections in Ukraine by 20:00.
Ukrainian News learned this from data of the Central Election Commission.
The highest voter turnout was registered in Ternopil region (77.75%), Donetsk region (76.97%), Volyn region (75.52%), Lviv region (75.32%), and Ivano-Frankivsk region (74.65%).
The lowest voter turnout was registered in Zakarpattia region at 56.37%.
These data are preliminary and were obtained from election commissions of polling stations by phone.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Ukraine was electing its president in the second round from 08:00 until 20:00 on February 7.
There were two presidential candidates after the first round of the presidential elections of January 17 - Viktor Yanukovych and Yulia Tymoshenko.
There were 18 presidential candidates in the first round of the presidential elections on January 17.
The voter turnout was 66.76%.
In the first round of the presidential elections 35.32% of voters supported Yanukovych and 25.02% supported Tymoshenko.
