On October 1st, 2009 a ceremonial signing of the contract between ViDi Group and BLG Logistics Group about joint venture establishment - BLG ViDi LOGISTICS, took place.The main objective of the enterprise is to build a modern logistics center of the European level. Establishment of a new business is actively supported by Kyiv Regional State Administration.

In a period of general instability in the economic sphere and the cancellation of many business activities, there is a very important and prominent event for Ukraine taking place: the largest European logistics operator - German company BLG Logistics Group enters to the domestic Ukrainian market of auto transportation. This is a result of signing of the contract with ViDi Group, which has considerable experience in finished vehicles logistics in Ukraine. Cooperation shows positive trends in the development of the Ukrainian economy in general and auto transport in particular, as well as the high degree of reliability of ViDi Group and its credibility as a strategic partner to the world's leading companies.

That is why it is decided to establish a joint venture, which will allow us to strengthen its position in the Eastern European market "- Frank Sturm, General Director of BLG Logistics Group said,.

Already existing vehicle logistics business of ViDi Group includes: AutoTerminal in Vyshneve, customs service, auto and rail transport, technical services (PDI). Customers of the terminal are importers of Toyota, Lexus, VW, BMW, Fiat, Daewoo, Ford, Subaru and Lada. The company has a leading position in automotive logistics market of Ukraine, and with establishment of joint venture with a leading European logistics operator like BLG Logistics Group ViDi Group plans to increase its market share.

These indicators will be achieved by building a logistic terminal of 31.8 ha for 15 000 cars in Kalinovka, Kiev area. Construction of this center will be implemented step by step and will be completed by the end of 2013. Total investment will be EUR 28,6 million. As a result of the stable expansion of the terminal, its capacity will reach 300,000 cars per year, which will undoubtedly increase the number of regular clients. Moreover, the company plans to continue to use the existing terminal in Vyshneve, which primarily will serve as a logistics center for the Kiev region.

The establishment of this company is of great importance not only for the automotive business, but also for the Ukrainian economy in general. After all, with the new terminal in the Kiev region over three hundred new working places will be created. In addition, thanks to the activity of the new joint venture state budgets of different levels will receive not less then UAH 20 million of tax deductions per year. And thanks to the logistics terminal activity auto importers will deduct to the country's budget about UAH 2 billion per year.
